On every plan

  • Unlimited data

No caps, no shaping, no throttling at any time of day.

  • IPv6, and a public IP if you want one

A native IPv6 /60 on every plan. IPv4 is shared (CGNAT) by default; add your own public IPv4 for $10/mo and hosting and port forwarding just work. Existing customers keep theirs free.

  • No lock-in

Month to month. Leave whenever you like, with no exit fee.

  • $0 setup

No connection fee. The first month is paid when you order.

  • Real people

Email or call the people who run the network. hello@warp.net.au.

  • Our own network

We run our own routing and addressing, so we can see and fix problems ourselves.

Good questions

Anything else? Visit support or email hello@warp.net.au.

Which plan can I get?
It depends on the nbn technology at your address. Essential works on every fixed-line connection. Boost runs at 500/50 on FTTP and HFC, and at 100/20 on FTTC, FTTB and FTTN. Ultra needs FTTP or HFC. Check your address and we’ll only show what your place can actually get.
What does “typical evening speed” mean?
It’s the speed we expect you to get between 7pm and 11pm, when everyone’s online. Our figures are initial estimates until we have three months of our own measurements. More in broadband speeds.
How does billing work?
You pay your first month when you order. That month starts on the day your service goes live, not the day you order. After that we bill monthly in advance, on the same day each month, charged to your card automatically. There are no late fees and no card surcharge. If you’d rather not use automatic card payments, you can pay by bank transfer. Ask us for the details.
Do I need a modem?
Bring your own. On FTTP, HFC and FTTC, any router with an Ethernet WAN port works. On FTTN and FTTB you need a VDSL2 modem-router that supports vectoring. There’s no username or password to enter, because the router gets its address automatically. Setup guide.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, up or down, from your account. The change happens when nbn completes it, usually within a day or two, and we work out the price difference for the rest of the month you’ve already paid for: an upgrade adds it to your next invoice, a downgrade credits it on your next invoice.
What if my line can’t reach my plan’s speed?
We’ll tell you what your line can do, move you to a plan it can reach and refund the price difference back to the day you connected. Or you can leave without paying anything more.
Is there a phone service?
No. WARP Internet is internet only. The service can’t make calls, including to 000, so keep a mobile handy. Read important information if you have a medical or security alarm.
Can I get WARP Internet on Fixed Wireless or Satellite?
Not yet. We sell nbn fixed-line services only: FTTP, HFC, FTTC, FTTB and FTTN.
