About WARP Internet

Good people. Better internet. Brighter places.

WARP Internet is a small Australian internet provider with a simple idea: that there's more out there, and everyone deserves a connection that gets them to it.

Who we are

WARP Internet is the home internet brand of The IT Dept Pty Ltd, an Australian network operator. We’re a deliberately small operation, run by network engineers who got tired of internet that was sold well and built badly.

So we built our own: our own network on AS152590, our own routing and addressing, and the equipment every WARP Internet connection lands on. nbn brings the line to your door and we look after everything from there.

It’s why every plan has native IPv6 and a public IP is one tap away, why we can publish honest evening speeds, and why, when something breaks, the people you talk to can actually see it and fix it.

What we promise

01

Tell you the truth

Real speeds, real prices, and the catch up front if there is one. If we can't connect your place, we'll say so before you pay.

02

Build it properly

Our own network, our own addressing, capacity planned for the busy hour. Good engineering is the cheapest customer service there is.

03

Pick up

When you email or call, you reach the people who run the network. No scripts and no handoffs to someone who can't help.

04

Give a fair go

No lock-ins, no exit fees, no late fees. If life gets hard, we'll work with you to keep you connected.
